Meynell Langley

Visits from schools are welcomed, and activities can be arranged to help pupils explore aspects of the farm appropriate to their curriculum studies.  Typical visits involve an introductory talk and safety briefing, a tour of the farm and two or three hands-on activities.  The maximum group size is 30 children.

Visits are planned and led by Helen Meynell, who is a qualified teacher, and by the farmer, Godfrey Meynell, who has a degree in Agriculture and Forestry.  Both Helen and Godfrey have attended CEVAS training.  Risk Assessments are available, updated for each specific group visit.  A pre-visit by the teacher is essential.C
