Meynell Langley

We don’t offer wedding packages! You simply hire the venue, and arrange your day yourself. Come to Meynell Langley for part of your wedding day, or for all of it.

You may choose to hold just your wedding or civil partnership ceremony at Meynell Langley, perhaps if you wish to have a reception at home or elsewhere.

If you would like to spend some time at Meynell Langley after your ceremony, before moving to a reception elsewhere, you may choose to serve drinks to your guests while you enjoy the gardens and take photographs.

If you decide to hold your reception at Meynell Langley, there are three ways in which you might like to do this.

• You could have a canapé reception in the house and garden with your choice of caterer serving drinks and food to your guests as they mingle and chat.
• Alternatively you could site a marquee on the lawn to entertain your guests with a full reception.
• Or for small parties of fewer than twenty people you could move to the Dining Room for your caterer to serve a meal.

Whichever part of your day you spend at Meynell Langley you will have exclusive use of the venue, and we will do our utmost to ensure that you and your guests feel welcome and have a happy time here. We have been privileged to welcome couples and their families and friends to Meynell Langley for the past few years, and have received many appreciative comments and letters. We offer an alternative to the packages and set formulas offered by hotels, and we know that many people enjoy being able to tailor their wedding celebrations to suit their own preferences.
