Meynell Langley

Home of the Meynell Family for hundreds of years, Meynell Langley Hall is situated on a rise in the land to the east of Kirk Langley village.  With open views and lovely grounds, the hall offers an exceptional setting for weddings and special occasions. It is also the hub of the estate, and acts as a base for educational visits, local fundraising events and the estate office.

Meynell Langley Estate is an old country estate in Derbyshire, where agriculture goes hand in hand with conservation of the countryside.  Farm fields and adjacent woodland, hedgerows, lakes and ponds, are managed to increase their wildlife habitat value and to produce food in a sustainable way.  

One of the estate farms is run organically, and an area of it has been planted by the local community as a community orchard.  The organic farm has a permissive footpath through several of its fields.
